Finance Manager

Finance Manager – 6-Month Contract | Preston | Up to £60k
  
We’re looking for a qualified senior accountant who enjoys leading a team while staying hands-on with the numbers. This is a varied role where responsibilities may adapt to meet the business’s needs – no two days will be the same!
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support finance teams in day-to-day operations
  • Month-end, reconciliations, and management reporting
  • VAT, tax compliance, and audit support
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls

  
Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)
  • Proven experience in management accounts and month-end processes
  • Strong understanding of VAT, tax, and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

In return: 6 Month contract, paying up to £ 60,000 per annum.
