Payroll Officer

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a busy HR/Finance team on a 3-month temporary assignment. You’ll manage all aspects of payroll preparation and coordination with an external payroll provider, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collate, check, and reconcile payroll input data (starters, leavers, changes, overtime, etc.)
  • Liaise with the external payroll vendor and review reports for accuracy
  • Resolve payroll queries and ensure compliance with HMRC and pension requirements.

About you:

  • Strong payroll experience in a complex or high-volume environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence with data
  • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and Excel proficiency are essential

Start: ASAP | Duration: 3 months (possible extension)
