Temporary Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Location: Blackpool
Salary: Circa £15.16 per hour
Contract: Temporary – approximately 4 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Start: ASAP

Jive Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join a growing business in Blackpool on a temporary basis for approximately four weeks.

You’ll be joining a small finance team and providing day-to-day transactional finance support. This is a hands-on role, so we’re looking for someone who is confident using Xero and can quickly get up to speed.

The role will include:

• Posting and allocating cash
• Processing bank transactions and payments
• Managing bank feeds within Xero
• Supporting payroll administration
• General bookkeeping
• Other day-to-day finance administration as required

What we’re looking for:

• Previous Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeping or transactional finance experience
• Good working knowledge of Xero is essential
• Experience with bank feeds, cash allocation and processing transactions
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently within a small finance team
• Available to start at short notice

The role is predominantly office based in Blackpool, with free on-site parking. There is some flexibility around working hours.
