Looking for more responsibility in Management Accounts?

If you’re AAT qualified and looking to step up, this role offers the chance to manage your own set of accounts, gain exposure to a growing group of companies, and work towards your CIMA or ACCA with full support. You’ll be joining a friendly finance team, led by a highly experienced Financial Controller who has been in your shoes and will help you progress.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of your own management accounts while working as part of a successful team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts for 2-3 companies within the Group
• Preparing month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across all accounts
• Gaining exposure to factoring, with full training provided
• Supporting the month-end process and financial reporting
• Working closely with the Financial Controller to streamline processes and improve efficiencies

What We’re Looking For

• AAT qualified, with plans to study CIMA or ACCA
• Experience in management accounts, including balance sheets and month-end journals
• A proactive approach, with strong attention to detail
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and taking ownership of their work

Alongside a salary of up to £37,000. You’ll be working Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with an early Friday finish of 2:30 PM (on rotation)—giving you a head start on the weekend! Most importantly, you’ll have the support of an experienced Financial Controller who will help you develop your skills and grow into a more senior role.
