Lancaster | Up to £30,000 | Monday-Friday | Hybrid after probation

My client is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team in Lancaster. You’ll receive full training in umbrella payroll, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who wants to develop a long-term career in payroll.

What will you be doing?

You’ll support the payroll process for agency workers across the UK, making sure they’re paid accurately and on time.

Your day will include:

• Processing weekly payroll.
• Speaking with recruitment agencies and contractors by phone and email.
• Checking timesheets and payroll information.
• Resolving payroll and pay queries.
• Processing pensions, statutory payments and payroll documentation.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance.

No two days are the same, so you’ll enjoy a varied role where organisation and attention to detail are key.

What are we looking for?

You’ll be someone who:

• Has strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Enjoys speaking with people and providing great customer service.
• Can prioritise a busy workload.
• Is keen to learn and build a career in payroll.
• Payroll experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential as full training will be provided.
