Purchase Ledger Clerk – Temporary Assignment
Location: Preston (Office Based)
Rate: £12.50 per hour (up to £13 per hour depending on experience)
Start: ASAP

I’m recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis. This is an office-based role in Preston, starting immediately.

The role will involve:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with queries and liaising with suppliers
  • Assisting with payment runs

What I’m looking for:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Must be able to drive due to the location

In return:
You’ll be joining a supportive finance team who will provide full training and guidance.

  • Working hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • £12.50 – £13.00 per hour, paid weekly
  • Free parking available
