Finance Business Partner (FP&A)

I’m recruiting on behalf of a growing, private equity-backed software business that’s looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join its FP&A team. This is an opportunity to move beyond the numbers and become a genuine business partner. Working closely with Product & Engineering teams, you’ll help shape budgets, improve forecasting and provide the financial insight that supports key business decisions. You’ll be joining a collaborative finance team where your ideas are valued, your development is supported and you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the business.

The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you’ll:

• Partner with Product & Engineering teams, providing financial insight and commercial support.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning for your business areas.
• Build financial models and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
• Deliver meaningful reporting, identifying risks, opportunities and performance trends.
• Challenge assumptions to improve forecast accuracy.
• Work closely with the wider FP&A team to continuously improve reporting and planning.

About You

You’ll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or a Finance Business Partner role. You’ll enjoy working with stakeholders, turning financial information into meaningful insight and helping the business make informed decisions. Experience within a software, SaaS or technology business would be advantageous, although candidates from other commercially focused environments are encouraged to apply.
